This page contains installation, registration, updating and uninstalling instructions for Mockups for FogBugz On Demand.
Usage instructions for the plugin are here.
Installation Instructions#
Installing Mockups for FogBugz requires administration privileges. The process is fairly simple and should take less than 10 minutes.
Log on to your FogBugz On Demand Account and select Plugins from the Admin menu
At the bottom of the table, click on "View All Available Plugins"
You will see a table which includes Mockups for FogBugz
Click on "No" to install the plugin. You will be taken to your plugin list:
That's it, your plugin is installed. Time to sign up for a plan!
Registration Instructions#
Mockups for FogBugz On Demand is sold as a monthly subscription paid exclusively via credit card. Full details here.
To sign up for a plan or change your plan, select Plugins from the Admin menu.
You will be taken to your plugin list:
Click on the little icon in configure, and you'll see the Mockups for FogBugz On Demand Configuration Page:
Select the plan you'd like to sign up to from the table on the right and click on "Sign Up!". You will be taken to a secure sign-up form on Spreedly.com, the payment processor we use:
Enter your credit card information and click on "Sign up for this subscription". Your card will not be charged for the first month, and you're free to unsubscribe or change your plan at any time. When your card is confirmed you'll see a confirmation page similar to this one:
Click on "Continue..." to be taken back to the plugin configuration page:
That's it! You can now enable the plugin for any of your FogBugz users, as long as you stay below your selected plan's threshold.
Mockups for Desktop Keys#
The plugin comes with free Mockups for Desktop licenses. You are eligible for those licenses as soon as we receive your first payment.
If you visit the plugin configuration page before we receive your first payment, this is what you'll see:
Once your first payment goes through, your license keys will appear, like so:
Just copy and paste the license information and email it to your mockup editors.
Selecting Mockup Editors#
Each Mockups for FogBugz plan comes with up to a certain number of mockup editors. A Mockup editor is an active FogBugz user who can create and edit mockups on your FogBugz installation. Everyone else will be able to see the mockups of course.
Simply check the checkbox next to each of the users you'd like to turn into a Mockup Editor.
You will only be able to select up to the number allowed by your Mockups for FogBugz On Demand plan, but are free to change which users get edit rights at any given time.
To add more users to your installation you can simply select a bigger plan, following the instructions below.
Changing Subscription Plan#
To change your current plan simply select a different plan from the plugin's configuration page, click on "Change Plan" and follow the instructions on Spreedly. You will have to enter your credit card information again.
Managing your Plan Info#
To change your credit card information simply click on the "Manage your Plan" link and click on "change?", then follow the instructions on Spreedly.
Stopping Your Subscription#
You can cancel FogBugz On Demand by stopping the auto-renewal of your subscription at any time. Just go to "Manage your Plan" and select "Stop automatic renewal".
Updating Instructions#
Software Updates are free and done by Balsamiq in collaboration with the FogCreek team. You don't have to do anything, you'll always have the latest version available on your account. Easy!
Uninstalling Instructions#
Plugins on FogBugz On Demand aren't really uninstalled, but you can disable them in your Plugin admin interface:
To disable Mockups for FogBugz, click "Yes", then "OK" in the confirmation dialog.
Important: if the plugin is disabled your users will no longer be able to see the existing mockups!
Your data is NOT lost, so if you re-enable the plugin your existing mockups will come back, as well as your saved list of enabled users.
